This course provides a framework for understanding the links between policies, budgets and development outcomes. The course introduces participants to a full range of issues associated with public expenditure: economic policy, expenditure analysis and tracking, Expenditure forecasting, efficiency and equity. Participants will be introduced to concepts in each of these areas and provided with practical tools for use in public expenditure reviews.
